Vanity
He throws her a rose,
The throw hurts her pride:
“How dare thou! Be it a rose or a rock!”
Next day, he offers her a rock
On which he drew a rose:
“It fits both thy heart and pride!”
She becomes raged with pride
She hits him with his rock:
“Ouch! the same effect didst thy rose!”
Both rock their pride. The rose faded away.
