Oblivion
Modern man wears a smile
Of insane joy, of unconscious submit.
Mechanism ruins his neurological cells.
Technology herds the modern slaves,
Who dream of consuming dreams,
Ambitious of paths carved, spoiled by many-
Put on the line to run in a lose lose race.
Harshly crazy rhythms of insanity.
Robots replace humans.
Humans become robotic.
Brand new age of new herds
Follow the crowd line,
Behind their screens
In a daily race against time-
Entertainment, work, distract…
Being under the spotlight or in the shadow
All tiring, all losing sense.
Not fitting in wants to stand out
Be unique… Yet, it’s all the same-
All is a carbon copy of the other,
At the end of our miserable day.
The echoes of void deafens his organs.
Screens shape life of humanity.
His body shadows his shadow,
His body eaten by materialism,
By the system that internally totalizes.
His degradation upgrades;
Still, insensible to the decline.
